------------------------- SCRUM -------------------------
During this project, we worked according to the SCRUM method. This meant we worked in sprints. We switched who was SCRUM-master every sprint, this way, everyone got to experience being the SCRUM-master.
------------------------- VISION-------------------------
On the right you can find the Product Vision Board we came up with during sprint 0 to set the foundation for all the design activities that were to come. The aim of this product vision board was to gain an understanding of the design specifications of our product owner, which included gathering information on the target group, the client and user needs, the underlying product requirements, and the business goals of the Energy Transition Platform Delft.
FIRST CONCEPTS
------------------------ RESULTS -----------------------
Using the power of user-research and many types of desk research, we managed to get a good understanding of the people who we are designing for. From this we created first concepts and turned those into four distinct touchpoints concepts, which together form our final design solution for the Energy Transition Platform Delft. Even the municipality of Delft was interested in our project and funded us the money needed to create a prototype for each touchpoint. We ended up designing a Kiosk, Model of Delft, Monolith and an application.
In order to realize our prototypes, we used our budget wisely, to pick the cheapest options that would still fulfill our design needs. Besides ordering the right materials and parts, we also needed a lot of knowledge of electronics in order to realize the technical aspect of the prototypes. This was the perfect moment for me to apply my knowledge and experience with electronics and Arduino.
APPLICATION
In the end, we had to show our entire concept and explain our four touchpoints in a video. This was, with my video skills, right up my alley and together with my teammates, we managed to create an exciting showcase video of our Living Lights concept...
